The Hon'ble MP who was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Joint Secretary (Road & Bridges) Government of Nagaland, Executive Engineer (NH), Kohima, the Additional Superintendent of Police, Kohima and NHIDCL officials, during his visit, met with the Dzüdza Village Council members led by the Council Chairman who shared their concerns and apprised the Hon'ble MP on the efforts they have been making to manage the situation at the local level.

The Hon'ble MP also met with the Western Angami People's Organisation leaders and welcomed their opinions and inputs while acknowledging their ongoing efforts in addressing the challenges posed by the landslide. He further assured the villagers and local organizations that he would pressurize the higher authorities to expedite the necessary repairs and ensure that the road is restored urgently. During the interaction, the Contractors entrusted with the construction and maintenance of the affected stretch of road assured the Hon'ble MP of all necessary interventions to ensure prompt repair and restoration of the affected area.

Expressing concern over the disruption caused by the landslide, the Hon'ble MP underscored the need for swift action to restore normalcy and ensure the safety of the residents and commuters who rely on this critical roadway. In another development, the Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) team, under the leadership of Working President Shri. Keviphreo K Kuotsu, today visited the stranded vehicles at the Dzüdza landslide site. The team, in a show of solidarity and support, provided refreshments to the travellers who were caught in the unfortunate situation. During the visit, Shri. Keviphreo K Kuotsu and the NPYC team interacted with the stranded travellers, offering them words of encouragement and assuring them of the NPYC's continued support.The NPYC is committed to stand by the people of Nagaland in times of need and urges the authorities to take prompt action to resolve the situation and ensure the safe passage of all travellers.
