Benjamin Yepthomi, the State President of the BJP Nagaland, has issued an appeal urging both factions of NSCN (Unification), led by Kitovi Zhimomi and Alezo Venuh, to exercise restraint and avoid any further acts of violence.

In a statement, Yepthomi emphasized the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding in resolving conflicts, highlighting the prolonged suffering of the people of Nagaland due to violence. He stressed that peace remains the only viable path toward achieving the collective aspirations of the Naga people.

"The people of Nagaland have endured enough suffering, and it is imperative that we resolve our differences through dialogue rather than the use of force," he stated.

Yepthomi called upon the leaders and members of both factions to prioritize peaceful negotiations and uphold the spirit of unity and brotherhood. He warned that violence would only hinder progress and erode public trust and hope.

Reiterating the need for stability and harmony, he urged all stakeholders to work together for the greater good of Naga society.

"The future of our people depends on our ability to resolve conflicts with wisdom and patience. Let peace prevail," he concluded.
