Kohima, April 3 – In a bid to uphold accountability and discipline within government offices, Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton led a surprise inspection at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat. Accompanied by Home Commissioner Vyasan R, ADGP Renjamo Kikon, Special Secretary Limasunep Jamir, and Home Secretary Orenthung Lotha, the team inspected the departments of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Social Welfare, Evaluation, Economics, and Planning.
The inspection aimed to assess workplace discipline and address absenteeism among government employees. Patton reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to enforcing responsibility and ensuring an efficient governance system for the people of Nagaland. He assured that similar inspection drives would continue as part of the government’s efforts to foster a culture of accountability and responsiveness in public service.
