Dimapur DC Urges Public to Avail Free Acupressure & Chiropractic Treatment Camp by Indian Red Cross Society

Dimapur | June 28, 2025:
Five-days   Acupressure  Chiropractor Treatment Camp, organized by the Indian Red Cross Society, Dimapur District Unit, was officially launched at the Lions Health Centre, Lions Club, Midland, Dimapur, on June 28. The program will continue till July 2, 2025, providing free treatment to the public from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM daily.

The event was graced by Shri Tinojongshi Chang, Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur. Speaking to the media, the DC highlighted the significance of the initiative and appreciated Chairman Chandu Agarwal and his team for their proactive efforts. He also shared that this project was the outcome of a recent meeting held with the Indian Red Cross Dimapur Unit. Since the camp is free of cost and aimed at public welfare, he urged residents of Dimapur and surrounding areas to make the most of this opportunity and get treated.

Chairman Chandu Agarwal informed that the initiative was brought in from Assam, and while similar programs were earlier held at locations like Durga Mandir and Jain Mandir, this time the team chose a more central and accessible venue so people from all backgrounds—locals and non-locals—could benefit.

He noted that the response has been overwhelmingly positive, with people even from interior regions of Nagaland and neighbouring states reaching out after the event’s details were circulated via WhatsApp.

Highlighting the growing need for mental health and stress-related solutions, he pointed out that nearly 20% of people suffer from stress, and treatment for such conditions is also being offered during the camp. “If there is greater demand from the public, we are open to organizing similar camps in the future,” he added.

The camp offers a range of treatments including Acupressure, Chiropractic Therapy, Fire Cupping, Vibration, and Magnet Therapy, addressing issues such as:

Blood pressure

Joint and back pain

Sciatica and cervical pain

Numbness in limbs

Stomach disorders

Obesity, thyroid, and asthma

Chronic headaches

Stress and anxiety

Arthritis and more

Chairman Agarwal also introduced the team of three expert doctors from Rajasthan, namely Dr. Ravinder Bishnoi, Dr. Mahendra Singh, and Dr. Magharaj and Th. Kailash Kumar. “These doctors have over 20 years of experience, having travelled across India, dedicated to promoting natural healing and serving the people,” he said.

He concluded by expressing gratitude to the Lions Club, volunteers, and all individuals and organizations who contributed to the successful execution of the event.
