Riders With a Cause: 43 Children Get School Admission & Clean Drinking Water for Hundreds

Dimapur July 2, 2025 | In a heartwarming move that blends compassion with action, Friends on Wheels Motorcycle Club, a Nagaland-based non-profit group of motorcycle enthusiasts, has installed a brand new water filter and cooler system at Zakiesato Memorial Higher Secondary School, Dimapur — ensuring that students now have access to clean, safe, and chilled drinking water every day.

Theme - A Step Toward Clean, Safe & Chilled Drinking Water.

The program commenced at 11:00 A.M. on July 1 and was graced by esteemed dignitaries, school officials, and members of the Friends on Wheels Club.

The program was chaired by Mr. Animesh Sutradhar, with an opening prayer led by Mr. Joyson Shimray (Co-ordinator). Key highlights of the ceremony included:

He also shared that this year, Friends on Wheels Motorcycle Club has successfully facilitated admissions for 43 underprivileged children in various schools — a testament to their ongoing dedication to educational upliftment.
