A group of concerned Naga youths held a press conference expressing frustration over the continued delay in implementing the signed political agreements. Calling themselves the “Fed-Up Naga Youth,” they clarified that they are not an organization but a collective voice of young Nagas who are tired of prolonged uncertainty.
The youths stated that their movement is not against Naga political leaders but against the continued silence and delay in action. They urged the Government of India to immediately implement the signed agreements, emphasizing that it is time for decisive steps toward a political solution.
They expressed support for the two signed agreements and appreciated the stand of the State Government. However, they said it is now the responsibility of the Government of India to act without further delay.
The group also appealed to Naga youths who feel frustrated and unheard to join the movement. They announced that more information will be shared through their website “Fed-Up Naga” and their social media platforms.
The youths further stated that the prolonged delay has created space for unhealthy systems such as monopoly and syndicate practices to grow, affecting the future of the younger generation.
