Two concerned citizens donate potted plants in Kohima town

 KOHIMA,17TH JULY: With our State under lockdown for nearly four months now, lives have remained locked at homes as we grapple with an invisible enemy. However in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic hovering the people across the state, two concerned citizens of Kohima town has brought positive vibes to the city by donating potted plants all along the stretch at Old MLA Junction. Azungla Metha talking to AIR News Kohima today said along with her sister-in-law both residing near MLA junction has come up with an idea to set up flower pots at Viliethie complex stretch not only for beautification of the town but also enable social distancing among the vegetable vendors. Azungla encouraged the residents of the town to come out more in number with such initiative in giving a facelift to our capital city. Kohima Municipal Council Administrator Kovi Meyase lauding their act as exemplary and responsive hoped that more citizens will come forward and participate in such yeoman service for the city.
