KOHIMA, 25TH JULY: A day after the announcement of partial lockdown in Dimapur, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman District Task Force, DTF for Covid-19, Anoop Khinchi has ordered additional lockdown measures from tomorrow till August 2. The Task Force said all categories of shops will remain closed while public movement and vehicular traffic will be prohibited except for pharmacies and medical emergencies. Inter-state and inter-district movement of all the goods vehicles will be allowed with proper safety measures in place. The DC said that the lockdown measures will be enforced to ensure comprehensive contact tracing, detection of suspected cases and implementation of isolation measures so that the chain of transmission can be slowed down and to contain the spread of Covid-19 infection.
