KOHIMA, 30th JULY: Governor R N Ravi has extended warm greetings to the people of Nagaland, especially to the Chang brothers and sisters on the occasion of Naknyulum festival. In a message, the Governor said the festival is celebrated to signify the triumph of light over darkness. He said it is during this festival, the Community share their produce, exchange gifts and care for one another. Another beautiful practice is the enthusiastic cleaning of the village by the village people, Ravi added. The Governor called upon all all to celebrate the Naknyulum festival in its true spirit while observing the constrain of the global pandemic COVID-19.
