DIMAPUR, 11TH AUG: The sub-committee constituted under the convenor of Dimapur Municipal Council, DMC Administrator, Albert Ezung to work out modalities for gradual re-opening of shops in Dimapur district yesterday submitted its report to the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur. The committee in its report has suggested revision of market timing and also work out mechanism to reduce crowding in market places by closing down particular categories of shops on particular days. The committee however stated that the issue of re-opening of market complexes which offer limited scope for enforcing social distancing like the Hongkong market, New Market, Millennium Market, etc., has been forwarded to state government with detailed modalities and is pending government's approval. After receiving approval, the committee would proceed for re-opening these categories of market places. The report will be deliberated in the next Dimapur District Task Force meeting to be held soon.
